Levent Ivov began his musical education at the National School of Music P. Pipkov in Pleven. Next, he attended the "Pancho Vladigerov" National University of Music in the class of Prof. Petko Radev and graduated with honors from the Mozarteum University Salzburg, Austria, in the class of Prof. Alois Brandhofer with a major in Konzertfach Klarinette (Master of Art). He also attended master classes with Prof. François Benda and Wenzel Fuchs at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
Levent Ivov is winner of numerous awards from international competitions in Austria, Bulgaria, Italy, Poland and the Netherlands.
He developed solo, chamber music and orchestral concert career with the Bläserphilharmonie Mozarteum Salzburg, Philharmonie der Nationen, Mozarteum Orchester Salzburg, Symphonieorchester Vorarlberg, Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz, within the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation "Live music now" and at the New York Harlem Theatre.
Mr.Ivov has numerous appearances as a soloist and chamber performer at various European festivals (Laureate Days Katya Popova, Aspekte Salzburg, Salzburger Festspiele, Kammermusik Bodensee and many others).
From 2010 to the present, he has been teaching at the music schools in Rankweil and Bregenz, Austria.
Thanks to his orchestral activity, as well as his great experience as a soloist and chamber musician, Levent Ivov developed multifaceted and diverse innovations and personally directed methods that motivate his students and ensures their great development.
Next to the classical and romantic repertoire, contemporary music is one of his specialties, along with the contemporary clarinet techniques (chain breathing, double tongue, multiphonics e.t.c.).
